I portray stories of celebration with the intention to draw viewers into a world of wonder and, ultimately, a feeling of lightness and joy. The narrative of my work focuses on the celebration and appreciation of small moments in our everyday lives. As time eludes me, I reflect back on my childhood and recognize the simplicity of happiness. I honor these thoughts in my paintings through playful subject matter and purposed symbolism.
